Terms
The plain version.
LinxMax is built and operated by Spergs, LLC. By using it you agree to these terms. Last updated: 2026-05-27.
Who you're agreeing with
"LinxMax", "we", and "us" mean Spergs, LLC, a Florida limited liability company. "The service" means the marketing site at lnx.mx, the app at app.lnx.mx, and the servers they connect to.
By using the service, you accept these terms and the privacy policy. If you don't, please don't use the service.
You need to be 18+
You have to be at least 18 years old to use LinxMax. We chose 18 across the board (above the age of digital consent in every jurisdiction we know of) so we don't have to make parental-consent machinery a load-bearing part of the product.
What you can't do
Don't use LinxMax to create short URLs that point to, or webring entries that link to:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), or content that sexualises minors in any way. We will report you to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and law enforcement.
- Phishing pages, malware, or credential-harvesting sites. Cloaking a malicious destination behind a short URL is the single most common abuse case and we will remove the mapping and ban the source on first report.
- Credible threats of violence against people or property.
- Spam, mass unsolicited messaging, or commercial messages to people who didn't ask for them.
- Content that violates applicable law in your jurisdiction or ours.
Short URLs that resolve to one thing during review and something else afterward (slug-swapping for malicious destinations) are treated as phishing and removed.
We don't pre-screen mappings. We act on reports and on obvious automated abuse (mass-creation, anomalous patterns). We reserve the right to remove any mapping at our discretion.
Your account, your responsibility
You are responsible for:
- The destinations of short URLs you create, including making sure you have the right to direct traffic to them.
- The content of webring entries you submit, including site name, URL, and description.
- Any copies of the service you self-host. Spergs, LLC is not responsible for content or availability on third-party deployments of the LinxMax code.
Service availability
LinxMax is offered free of charge. We don't offer a service-level agreement, an uptime guarantee, or a refund policy (there's nothing to refund). We try to give meaningful notice before doing anything disruptive.
Termination
We can remove individual mappings, webring entries, or revoke API access if the use violates these terms or harms other users. Where we can, we'll tell you why; sometimes (active investigations, legal requirements) we can't.
No warranty
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not make any warranties, express or implied, about fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted service, or that the service will be free of errors.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Spergs, LLC and its officers, members, and employees won't be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including loss of data, profits, or goodwill) arising out of or in connection with the service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Some jurisdictions don't allow these limitations; in those, our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by local law.
Changes to these terms
If we make material changes we'll update the "Last updated" date and post a notice on the homepage. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute that can't be resolved by emailing privacy@spergs.com will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Florida.
